Main fabric: cut these pieces: 24” x 6”, 15” x 6” 10” x 6” 8” x 6”
Strap: cut one piece: 2” x 30”
Name plate plain fabric: 3" x6" Embroider your name on a larger piece of fabric. Centre the name, and cut the fabric to 3" x 6" OR, you can leave this piece plane and use it for your pins.
Trim for the plastic: 1 ½” x 6” -You can use the same fabric as name plate
Plastic: 3” x 6”
Binding 2” x width of fabric
Fusible interfacing Heavy weight 12” x 6’
Light weight (cut these pieces): 7 ½” x 6” 5” x 6 “ 4” x 6”
2” pc of Velcro
You will need a sewing machine and a basic sewing kit.
Name tag instructions
Place fusible on material and fuse in place
12” fusible on the 24” x 6” piece of material
7 1/2” fusible on the 15” x 6” piece of material
5” fusible on the 10” x 6” piece of material
4” fusible on the 8” x 6” piece of material
Trim - press in half with wrong side together - fold edges in to the center and press in place - sew to plastic
Binding -fold in half and press
Layout in the following order

T ack plastic to the 4” piece
Stitch down the center of the strap.
Mark down 1” from top of the 12” and the 8” piece
Place the Velcro on these lines and stitch in place
On the reverse side of the 12” piece mark down 2 ½”. Place the raw edge of your name plate on this line, right sides together, and stitch in place (make sure the name is going the right way before stitching). Flip and baste in place.
Place the strap approx 3 ¾” from top of the 12 inch piece - baste in place
Arrange pieces in the order above - you can baste in place or pin
