As a follow up to my earlier email, I am pleased to say that our potluck will be held on Saturday, December 16th. This is our free sew day and the Centre will be open to us at that time. I realize that it is a day close to Christmas that could be used for shopping, baking or family but the day could be used to spend with friends, eat some delicious food and do some catch up quilting.
It was determined that Monday, December 11 had already been booked and was unavailable to us.
The placemats will be collected at that time.
The Centre will be open at 9 am on December 16th. People can come and go, stay and sew, drop in and sample some food, see some friends and enjoy themselves.
I know this date won't be convenient to everyone but I see it is our best alternative.
Please bring:
Your potluck meal to share with everyone.
Your dishes: plate, bowl, fork, knife, spoon, cup, and maybe a separate desert plate.
Six fat quarters! You'll need three to play Left-Centre-Right, and we often play the game twice.
We will not be having a regular business meeting. We also don't do a full show-and-tell, but, if you want to show something that will be given away before our January meeting, definitely bring it in to show and tell.
