80 5" squares ( I used scraps of batiks but 2 charm packs would work)
160 2.5" squares of background fabric
Inner border (@1/4 meter Same as background)
Outer border ( a little over 1/2 meter of desired fabric) I cut my border 5".
Homework:
Sew 2.5" squares to opposite corners of 5" squares.
NOTE: If you purchase a flannel backed tablecloth at Dollarama, it can be used as a design wall. I will bring Painters tape to workshop. Deciding how to arrange the mini petals is the most work unless your squares are the same colour, which looks great too. The tutorial is available on Jordan's Fabric website, and the pattern is also found at Robert Kaufman, The pattern was designed by Ariga Wilson for RK.
